History

In 1948, Andy and Henrietta Hauber set up shop, know as Dickeyville Locker. They did mostly slaughtering and processing beef and pork. In the early 60’s they added on a retail store and started making some of their own products.

In 1978, Andy and Henrietta incorporated the business with their sons John (wife Ruth) and Dave also known to most as “Mick”. The name changed to Hauber’s Processing, Inc. As business grew they started making more products thus making the business what it is today.

In July 2014 Bob “Bongo” Brand became the new owner, and the 3rd generation to own the business. Bob is the grandson of the late Andy and Henrietta Hauber and nephew of John, Ruth and Mick Hauber. With the new ownership came a new name, Hauber Brand Meats, the name changed but the products stayed the same.
